The Journal Club 3.0 blog is published by The Scientific Editing Company and aims to post relevant, interesting content on research communication, scholarly publishing and research careers.

 

About the company

The Scientific Editing Company specialises in English editing and researcher development training. We deliver workshops to researchers at several institutions around the UK and Europe on research communication, scholarly publishing and careers. We are based in Edinburgh and our editors are all trained scientists with PhDs from first class UK universities. We offer a high-quality English editing service for scientific documents and work with scientists from both industry and academia to communicate their work effectively. Every year, we run the popular ReCon Event conference in Edinburgh. This conference is designed for researchers and it focusses on publishing and research communication. The first conference was in 2013 and we have now hosted over 60 speakers from universities, publishing organisations, funding bodies and more, in addition to over 1,000 delegates.
